Yirgalem Construction Advancing Addis Ababa Corridor Development with Roads, Cycle Lanes, and Walkways

Yirgalem Construction is actively working on the Addis Ababa Corridor Development, constructing critical roads, cycle lanes, earthwork structures, and walkways in selected areas of the capital. The project focuses on an 8 km stretch of asphalt road, divided between the Gotera to Sarbet route (2.8 km) and the CMC to Megenagna route (5.8 km). This initiative is part of a city-wide effort to enhance urban mobility by offering smoother roads, improved pedestrian walkways, and dedicated cycling lanes, all designed to create a safer and more efficient transportation system.

With completion nearing, the project is expected to transform these busy corridors, providing better connectivity for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians alike. Yirgalem Construction’s commitment to quality is evident in the rapid progress of the work, which will soon reduce traffic congestion and promote sustainable urban transport. The new infrastructure will play a vital role in supporting the city’s growth and improving daily commutes for Addis Ababa’s residents.
